This letter is long overdue, but in a sense our sentiments are more powerful, as it has been almost a year since MasterWorks completed the renovation of all three floors of our home. We are still pleased with both the quality of the work and the relationship we developed with you and your company during the project.

We have recommended to many of our friends that they use MasterWorks to do major renovation projects for several reasons. Simply put, they are:

We are enjoying our new rooms so much and I just wanted to write you a note (long overdue) to let you, MasterWorks and your team, know just how much we appreciate all the time and effort it took to bring our job to completion.

From the beginning, you appreciated the vision we had for the space we wanted to add. You helped us find an architectural designer who was familiar with our neighborhood, handled the whole permit process, and really tried to make the experience "endurable". Not only did the new space turn out wonderfully well, but also we appreciate the way you tackled the "add-ons" and problems (and there were plenty of those) that were discovered along the way.

We enjoy our new room every day and sometimes can hardly believe that it took us so long to decide to do the addition. For me, the new storage areas, laundry and office are a joy. The entertainment center that was built in your shop is beautiful and just perfect for the room.

I also want to let you know that we also appreciate the fact that MasterWorks have come back to work out little things that have cropped up since the job was completed. Having someone who is that committed to satisfying the customer is very important and rare these days.

MasterWorks recently completed a major remodeling project in my home. The project included new kitchen cabinetry with granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry in the great room, new cabinetry with granite countertops in one bathroom, retiling two bathrooms and the foyer, changing one bathroom from bathtub to walk-in shower, repainting the entire house inside and outside, replacing the carpet, refinishing all hardwood floors, and replacing the marble fireplace with granite. The scope of this work seemed incomprehensible and I was hesitant just thinking about it. With reassurances that MasterWorks would take great care to minimize the impact on my family, my husband and I decided to "go for it."

It was definitely a stressful time to have every part of you home invaded by new faces and activities. But every one of the subcontractors was respectful of our home and pleasant to be around. After a while they became like part of the family, coming and going, getting their respective jobs completed. When problems arose, I always felt I had allies working toward a solution.

In retrospect, it was a relatively short period of chaos in our normally tranquil lives, considering the scope of the work done. Now, I look around my beautiful home and I'm happy we did the project. The results are surely worth the effort and MasterWorks must certainly be commended.

Ask me if I would do it again and I'll tell you that I would, but only with MasterWorks helping us realize our dream.

Joe and I, and our entire family, want to thank you for the terrific job you did transforming our kitchen! Your ideas were so creative and your ability to take those ideas and bring them to life is really amazing. Every time I walk into my kitchen I feel like I'm in a showplace, yet it is also such a warm, inviting area for our family, that I just can't believe it.

You know that when we started this project I was more than a little nervous about having the kitchen totally redone, particularly with two small children to keep fed and out of harm's way. Patty and I are pleased with the way our remodeling project turned out and want to let you and your future customers know it. Feel free to use this letter as well as the photography of the transformation in your marketing brochures and advertising.

Since this was our first major demolition / reconstruction, we decided to proceed slowly and thoroughly in all aspects prior to choosing a contractor. We talked to designers, architects, engineers, friends and neighbors. We looked at a variety of factors, but were concerned with quality, price and overall value. Specifically, the cabinets were of utmost importance from a component standpoint. Additionally, our confidence in you ability to deliver a satisfactory product within budget was paramount in our thinking.

After careful consideration and a fairly extensive bidding process with the final three contractors, your company won our business. We are happy with the results. The kitchen, family room, pantry and laundry are first rate and met our very high expectations. We have done a lot of entertaining since the completion in October and the new layout is perfect. Our friends, relatives, neighbors and business associates are amazed at the difference in the livability and functionality of the areas you worked on.

As we reflect on the project, we realize it was really, really big! The highlights as we saw them:

1. Removing a structural wall and installing arches to open the kitchen to the family room and matching all with the style of the rest of the ground floor.

2. Raising a previously sunken floor, and associated cabinetry and French doors to the exterior.

3. Reconstructing the fireplace mantle and gas line.

4. Enlarging and modernizing the laundry room

5. Stone-work and pillars in the kitchen; tons of new cherry cabinetry and granite; reconfiguring the island to look like furniture; essentially the creation of a gourmet kitchen

6. Wiring for surround sound, plumbing for two refrigerators and a dishwasher, ventilation for a commercial grade stove and ovens, and all the associated movement of lighting and electrical.

Your crews were clean and professional, resulting in little disruption to our daily lifestyle. They listened and reacted to our minor design changes. Most of all, the project went smoothly and completed ahead of the promised time. Many thanks for a job well done!
